Funding

Membership of OPCSG is free of charge and is open to all those affected by prostate cancer within the Oxfordshire area.

We are mainly self-funded by donations and fund raising events, and we were able to start the group with a grant from the Prostate Cancer Support Federation. The Federation is also self-funded and supported by Prostate Cancer UK.

We are currently seeking funding from various sources. These include local commercial organisations, some cancer charities, interested individuals and various organisations.

 IN March 2013 OPCSG received a generous donation from the friends and family of the late Judy Edwards.
 
We have received donations from Wantage Round Table (proceeds from a 'fish nibbling feet event') and Wantage and Grove U3A (Christmas raffle).
 
You may have seen in the Oxford Mail (20th Jan 2012) and the Oxford Times that new member Tony Jones and his wife raised £365.00 for us at their Golden Wedding party in December. Thank you again Tony and the Oxford Mail for presenting Tony's story so well.
