Back in August the King’s Arms in Kidlington, hosts Gerry and Chris McGrath, held a beer and cider festival weekend with money raising events for prostate cancer charities.  On 9 November Gerry and Chris presented the amazing results of the generosity of the pub’s regulars: a new laptop for the Maggie’s Centre at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford, and a cheque for £1292 for Prostate Cancer UK.  Claire Marriott, Centre Head at Maggie’s, and John Grundy from OPCSG on behalf of PCUK, collected the laptop and the cheque.  Many, many thanks to all at the King’s Arms.
